²¹ Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” ²² But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had many possessions. ²³ Jesus said to his disciples, “Amen I tell you: It will be very hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
